Fair Trade means an equitable and fair partnership between businesses and organizations in the developed world and producers in the developing world. Fair trade contributes to sustainable, long-term relationships with artisans and producers, enabling them to improve their lives.

What does Sustainable mean?
The concept of sustainability can be traced back to President Theodore Roosevelt who stated in 1910, “ I recognize the right and duty of this generation to develop and use the natural resources of our land; but I do not recognize the right to waste them, or to rob, by wasteful use, the generations that come after us. ”
